As we know, customer "service" departments are designed to block consumer access to anyone who can actually help. If you have problems with 800 numbers, do a Web search for the company's stock page. It will not be accessible through the marketing site. The corporate address and phone number are on that page because unlike mere consumers, stockholders are considered important enough to talk to. I've had several complaints rectified immediately by calling the corporate office number found on the stock site. read full review »

Profs, do NOT use CourseSmart to get exam copies of etexts. It's a waste of time. CourseSmart's Web site is so deceptive that using the site wastes precious time for instructors. First, Web designers need to become aware that there are TWO computer platforms, and Macintoshes are becoming more widespread. If text overlaps or forms aren't usable in Firefox, Mac users are not served. But while the design is problematic, the content is more so.
