I was suckered into buying one of these contracts through Service Protection Direct/Mepco/Texan Partners. I canceled within the first 30 days and was charged almost $400 dollars, I will not see that money for another month. They made it very difficult to cancel the contract giving at least 7 different customer service numbers to cancel with, and also making you notify them in writing with a notarized letter of the cancellation.
