I talked with an associate at Wells Fargo yesterday (May 23, 2011) who talked to someone on the phone and confirmed that MOST businesses have up to 45 days to process any transaction you make. My problem is that the money came out of my account after I already made each purchase (I went on vacation from May 10, 2011 to May 17, 2011). This is the worst bank in my opinion. I went on vacation in early May 2011 (10th to the 17th). I had made sure I had enough money and did make a lot of purchases (most of it being food). The problem with this? Well, I had a lot of PENDING transactions. For each purchase I made though, the money had already come out of my account even though the transactions were pending. Now I have overdraft fees because Wells Fargo decided to take out MORE money for the transactions even though the money had came out previously while I was on vacation. Well... read full review »
