Just an update on Priceshuffle : Priceshuffle IS a scam...confirmed recently on march 27 2011, i tried to bid for 2 items just to use up my $75 i wasted on the trial bids (which they refuse to refund). i was successful in those 2 items and paid for them and waited for them. talked to Bill about the non-delivery, they gave me an excuse that it couldn't be delivered to my address which i have moved in for 2 years ! tried to get it delivered to a different address 20 april...still no luck... they are giving me the runaround, refusing... read full review »

Posted an apt for rent in www.myidealhome.com and received a reply from an interested party to stay for a year. he did sent a check from Texas for the deposit...he claimed to send too much $ and i had to send him the extra...to make a long convoluted story short, i deposited the check but he wanted me to send him the extra $2000 by western union. fortunately, i waited for the check to clear like my bank advised. a week or 2 later, the check was returned as suspected... even though i didn't fall for it, i guess he might be successful... read full review »

i responded to an online free trial in nov for priceshuffle. it offered a 60 days trial. i had to pay $75 for 125 bids. if within 90 days i am not successful in the auction, i will be refunded. when i used up all my bids and not successful, i emailed them for a refund. they refused to refund me saying the terms allow for a bids top up only. this is certainly a scam...does anyone know what i can do since i am not a california resident. i reside in canada. read full review »

on april 10, i signed up for the 24 hours trial for $1.95 online. i cancelled it during the 24 hrs cuz i find the website has general and useless info. a days later i realised i was charged another $38.21 for the taxrefundguide. when i called them, i realised the tag-along product was deviously hidden in the fine print during the ordering process. they were not upfront with the sale and had to hide it and hope a few unsuspecting people will fall for the trick. my 2nd complaint was : when i logged in www.taxrefundguide.com i further realised... read full review »
