Removing the status bar was unnecessary. Even though there is a new extension that brings back some of the utility of the statusbar, the extension should not have been necessary and the status bar should never have been removed. There was already a mechanism in place to remove it if you didn't want it, "Views/Statusbar". So if they wanted to have the status bar hidden by default, why not have an option to return it, how novel, by simply going to "Views/Statusbar" and reenabling it. Now eclipses the EULA (Licensing agreement requirement) as the greatest blunder ever by Mozilla. read full review »
