My fiance and I got an Amex Blue Cash Card back in October 2008 with a $3, 000 credit limit. While we have been paying their payments -- above minimum every month, they just lowered our credit limit to $2600.00 instead of the original $3000 limit. When we called to discuss the account, a very snotty Credit Supervisor rambled off some nonsense about how the balance we have which is $1700 was not going down -- and that they lowered the limit.
