We waited weeks to get our new Wheaten puppy. My kids were so excited. Right away he had horrible diarrhea. I hoped at first that it was just puppy diarrhea from leaving his home but it did not get better. The Vet confirmed that he had Coccidia and Giardia parasites. We started him on meds right away. He did not seems to get better. Now he starting vomitting as well. He would not eat or drink and could barely stand. We took him to an emergency Vet where he spent the night.
