When I called The Harford requesting a "quote" for auto insurance, at no time did the agent notify me that they would do a credit check. As a result of this, they listed four derogatory statements in the reply letter. The DIRECTOR, Susan L. Castaaneda, refused to answer my letter, instead a Melissa Giard called me and stated that they had done nothing wrong. Subsequently, I received a form letter for Ms Castaneda directing me to sign-up for auto insurance. I also filed a complaint with the BBB in CT, but to no avail.
