We hired Jacobson Realty as a realtor to help us find a one-year rental in Long Island. THAT THEY DID! They found us a property and after signing the lease and handing over the money we found out that they are the management company on the premises as well! WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK to take a broker's fee commission and have a percentage monthly from the landlords to manage the property.
