It's the last day of the month and, at the end of the day, we end up with $14. and change in our checking account ... Been retired from the military for 17 years now, so on the 1st of the month, every month for all of those 17 years, there's a direct deposit to our checking account. Also happens that we authorized our auto insurer to draft our payment for auto insurance on the 1st. One would think 'no problem'.
