I live in Sacramento, Ca. Last week, I noticed my Wells Fargo ATM Checking account monthly fee had gone up to $7 from usual$5. I called Wells Fargo customer service to find out whys; why wasn't I notified, why the big jump, why couldn't offer me a cheaper account types? Well, the customer service rep told me that I was notified 3 month in advance of fee change in my monthly online statement.
