The History Channel should change its name to "Crappy Reality TV Show Channel"- they've definitely taken the emphasis away from history. Its primary viewers don't care about Ice Road Truckers, Axmen and celebrity biographies. People who do watch Zone Reality and E! Entertainment for that stuff.
