I received a call from a man named Ryan Nolan on 4-10-09, claiming to be a fireman at the Berkeley Fire Department. Selling an Ad that was to be distributed in all local towns for a magnetic card with all important local phone numbers. He said the Ad contract would be for two years at a cost of $650.00 which he wanted me to pay then by credit card. He said he obtained my name from Realtor.com and I was the only Realtor he was calling in the area. When I replied that I would confirm this Ad with the Fire Department Chief who happens to be my client he got defensive. I am notifying our local Board of Realtors of this apparent scam. read full review »
