I am an employee of the "Nevada state Contractors Board" in Henderson, NV. I purchased a soft water conditioner for a rental home that I own. When the Plumber arrived, I was not there, my tenant was home. My tenant informed me that the plumber (Union Plumbing) said immediately that he could not install the water softener because the plastic tubing was 3/8" and it has to be 1/2".
