Reserved a full sized car online for 10 day trip tover Memorial weekend to visit elderly mom in small town 40 miles from Orlando. They tried to make me pay $8.95 a day for "loss of use" insurance - even called my Ohio insurance agent to see if my policy covers. Agent advised this is a scam - no policy covers this - large rental agencies don't even try to recoup legally. I had to argue and sign a waiver to rent without this "coverage".
