After spending $4000 on a washer and dryer with an extended 10 year warranty, my washing machine broke down. I called for service under the warranty and was told by the independent (contracted by PC Richard) service tech that the machine was not economical to repair and was a fire hazard. PC Richard assured me that I would have a new washer within 3 days. I called to check status the next day and was told that they were ordering parts to repair the washing machine instead of giving me a new one.
