I had taken new SIM in Chennai on april 14th, 2011 by giving my Passport zerox as address proof(Karnataka Address). After one month Airtel customer care people called me for the address verification 5 times. Then I gave my Passport address(karnataka address) and local address(chennai address) both. After 1 week they disconnected my incoming n outgoing, whenever I called to anybody it was going to the customer care for address verification.
