Is it normal or legal for a tree company to start charging you the minute they call you and are on their way and then talk to you for a half an hour once they arrive? Only when I asked the crew manager when to "start the clock" (as I was paying on an hourly basis) did he say the minute he called me from his truck which was over an hour earlier. I paid $275.00 for the first hour in which nothing had been done. I feel like I was scammed, since I was not told this in advance nor was this in the estimate they gave me. read full review »
