I purchased two of these units at Tractor Supply. The box says "Protects Yard From Unwanted Animals" It says it covers up to 30 feet at a 70 degree angle. I have a small vegetable garden that is 12' x 24'. I put one at each end. After three days of bright sunlight, which was surely enough to charge the batteries, I saw both a rabbit and a squirrel in my garden at the same time.
