Kenmore Model 790.47849403. My mother nearly suffered serious injuries when her Kenmore oven door (about 3 yrs old) exploded sending glass across her kitchen and living room. She cooked a dish at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, turned off the oven, and about 30 minutes later the glass/door exploded. After searching the internet it appears that this is happening frequently to ovens all over the world and across many makes/models of ovens, but Kenmore seems to be the worst offender. Why isn't there more press about this?! Stay away from Kenmore appliances, not as good as they once were. read full review »
