I have a Money Market Checking account with Regions. I opened for the purpose of setting aside money to purchase a home with the ability to easily access the funds when needed. Having purchased a home I began using the money I had previously deposited in the account. I found that at the end of the statement cycle, Regions charged me $420.00 for a "Excess Activity Fee".
