An electronic check for $99.49 posted to my checking account yesterday. It purports to be for a savings club. I did not authorize the charge or sign up for any such thing. I called to dispute the check with my bank, Chase. The incredibly rude claims employee claimed that they would credit my account for this money but claimed that it was not fraudulent despite the fact that I did not authorize it.
