I was in a long checkout line with many people behind me. When it was my turn to pay I submitted a $20 bill to the cashier/clerk. She held it up in the light and examined it for a full minute. Then she told me in a loud voice, "This bill is counterfeit." I was very embarrased as people behind me suddenly viewed me as a criminal. She called the assistant manager and he deemed the bill valid after examining it. I told the clerk she better be damned sure she is right next time she accuses someone. She simply started talking to the next person and ignored me. Obviously the store has poor management. read full review »
