I decided to go with Chase mortgage for my home loan. They pre approved me. I wanted to close on a home and my loan officer promised me within 30 days. My loan officer gave the papers to the underwriter who took a long time and asked for the same documents over and over. Towards the end of 30 days both my loan officer and underwriter stopped returning my calls.
