I purchased a refurbished iPod classic on 6/7/11. The item was supposed to be shipped in 2 days, delivered in ten. The item wasn't shipped until 10 days, and delivered later than the 10 days. Upon receiving the item, it will not charge. I don't understand how a refurbished item, that is supposed to be restored to like new status, can come out of the box not working, unless they are just slapping a refurb sticker on a used item without even checking them out.
