Tried to add a day to a previously made car rental booked with Alamo through Hot Wire. Got the run-around from both companies- I made 5 phone calls total to try to work this out. Neither company would allow me to simply add a day to the rental. Hotwire option given was to cancel the multi-day reservation (no refund, of course) and rebook with them using the new dates, or rent a car for one day and return it to pick up spot then pick up the second car (initial multi-day reservation) at the same spot.
