I remember getting an HP pavilion dv2000 series for graduation back in 2008. While the laptop appeared to be in good shape and was very sleek and attractive, I soon found out a few months in that this purchase was a flop. Keep in mind I took very good care of this laptop. I didn't leave it on blankets, didn't drop it, didn't spill drinks on it, etc. To begin, the laptop's fan was useless and the entire computer would overheat, much to the point where the keyboard would be burning hot.
