I have worked at this company for a while now. I have seen delivery drivers get paid minimum wage from clock in to clock out, to minimum wage inside the store and 4 dollars an hour on the road. The full delivery fee does not go to the driver. If gas is 4 a gallon, the driver gets 1.20 out of a 2.25 delivery fee charged to the customer. At the end of the shift the manager multiplies 3.25 times the drivers road hours to calculate what tips the driver should claim on taxes.
