Beware of Steven Michalak from Illinois Home Loans. He kept telling us he was going to go over all our options with us but kept canceling appointments until it came down to the wire. He showed up with only 1 offer, less than a week before our closing and we felt pressured to take it because he kept telling us he would refinance us for no cost to a better loan a month later.
