I am trying to book a direct flight from SFO (san Francisco) to Paris leaving late August and returning to SF late September. I have noticed the following: If I book the same dates from SFO to LHT (London Heathrow) through AF, I would pay almost HALF what I would pay for the same trip to Paris. To add insult to the injury, it would be on the exact same plane than the direct flight SFO-CDG! I would then hop from CDG to LHT.
