-I have Suddenlink cable with a Scientific Atlantica DVR. I also have 2 Tivo DVRs (I am happy with my Tivo DVRs. They are user friendly, reliable and Tivo has great customer service). -Suddenlink has finally upgraded from a few HD channels to a few more. But in order to get cable on tvs without a Suddenlink DVR you have to add a box.
