My in-laws purchased a kenmore air conditioning unit, model r-410a about 5 years ago. It worked great for the first summer, but they have had nothing but problems with it ever since. The last 4 years Sear's technicians have come out and simply refilled the freon supply but never checked for leaks or cracks in the system. Finally 4 weeks ago the unit stop working again.
