I shipped a commercial shipment to an account in Ohio from New York with ABF, and the cost was under $300. I shipped about twice as much to Oregon, and I thought I would get a similar rate. Instead, I was called while the shipment was en route that it would cost over $2000. They want to make it my fault for not having verified the rate on this shipment.
