I hired Safelite to fix a very small chip in my windshield. The technician looked at the repair, told me it would be no problem, took my money and began to work on my car. He never mentioned that there was a risk the repair could lead to a crack in my windshield. Three hours later I returned to my car to discover a six inch crack (now expanded to a twelve inch crack), a receipt, and a copy of their warranty which strictly limits their liability to the application of the repair cost to a replacement.
