Two you men caliming to be local college students, (don't remember if I asked for college ID) claimed that the y were selling books for a contest. We bought one or two books for my grandson, age 4, and my wife paid for the book(s?) by check ($60), giving one of the men $15 cash. Several weeks when she went to write out a check she noticed that the last check stum had not been ripped out cleanly, and that there was no entry for that check stub.
