My house is 1300 sq ft. It is entirely run by electricity, but have energy efficient appliances, replaced the windows, new siding with insulation and keep it cold enough in the winter that my parents leave their coats on when they visit. Our bill has skyrocketed!! They claim they read the meter and it is actual usage. When asked how to cut usage, we were told to do the things that we have already done.
