When they arrived on the day of the inspection, one of first things they did was go up on the roof. They explained the composition of the roof, what I could reasonably expect out of the roof and how to walk on the roof without damaging it if I ever needed to get up there. During the inspection of the inside of the house, I followed them from room to room. They explained everything to me as we went along and answered all my questions.
