This billing service is nothing but another way for the jails/prisons to make a profit off of the family and loved ones of people who are incarcerated. I am unable to pay for a prepaid account, but my home phone is capable of accepting collect calls from anywhere in the world. Why can't I accept a collect call from my loved one in jail? I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, and desperately need to talk to my only family member, who unfortunately is in jail.
