I moved into a really yucky little apartment on 17th Street in Pilsen in August of 2005. It was managed (not owned by) Pilsen Group Realty. Being a naive kid from farm community, I had no idea about the neighborhood and was misled by PGR into thinking it was a safe place for my child and me to live. It was absolutely not safe by any means--both my car and the unit were broken into within a couple of months. The building was completely infested with roaches and illegal immigrants.
