Compass has done this to me a total of 3 times, I was able to get my money back the first time but no luck on the other 2 times. This current time I had a balance of 458.02 and spent 487.35, a difference of 29.33, and one of my items was 27.00; so how is it that I end up with 6 nsf fees instead of 2. Well the way it was explained to me was because they had to pay their fees first, which caused the other 4 items to overdraft.
