Letter was sent to me via air mail from Canada claiming that I had been pulled from a winning lottery of five people who were claimed to have won $39, 400 each. I was sent a cashiers check in the amount of $3, 900.oo. I was told when I called the number provided in the letter that I could cash the check by either depositing it into a checking or savings account or have it cashed at a check cashing facility.
