I am a consumer whose WAMU credit card accounts were acquired by JP Morgan Chase. When I was redirected to the Chase online site to pay my accounts, I had to complete some basic information including the account from which I will pay my bill. I misunderstood the directions and entered my debit card instead of the bank account number. I received a 'congratulations' screen that directed me to the payment forms.
