Chase took over Wamu and my credit card balance. With WAMU I signed up for a payment reminder so I would not forget to make my payment. This worked very well for me until Chase took over, switched the system and I did not receive a reminder. When it dawned on me I hadn't made the payment I logged on and discovered not only had I been assessed a $39 late fee, they had DOUBLED my interest to 29.99%.
