I signed up with a neighbor that was a local representative with Universal Merchant Services-Transfirst last May 2008. I was promised excellent credit card processing fees with this great service. I discover quickly that I was lied to. When I asked for documentation and copies of my contract I would never get a response. I tried on numerous occasions to contact my local representative and they never returned my phone calls. After nearly a year of frustration, I closed out my merchant account.
