In the past month Banknorth has charged me over $300 in overdraft fees. When I ask them to explain why, they always tell me that its because certain things haven't cleared yet. It's quite a coincidence that everything for the past two weeks clears all on the same day: Right before my check is direct deposited. This leaves me with rediculous overdraft fees, and no money when my check is direct deposited to my account.
