Since Hurricane IKE here on the Houston Ship Channel traffic at my post was difficult at best during the 12 hour shifts. I thought since they treat everybody equally my supervisor would give me a respite occasionally. Never came. I asked "Can anybody give me a break. Standing 12 hours while power is out on the main gate and all the traffic entering and exiting is taking a toll on my back as well as my feet and lower legs". I told my supervisor I could show one of the other six people sitting around how to do this, sign trucks in and out. She said " yeah so what." Thanks Securitass!! read full review »
