I found out about this "membership" by seeing charges to my bank account. The company name did trigger a connection in some questionable junk mail I'd received and set for shredding. The junk mail was in the form of low dollar checks addressed to me with the small print catch of "cash 'em and get charged a 100+ dollar fee" with the bonus of being enrolled in a misc. membership I do not want.
