Be careful of GE extended service warranties. What they won't tell you is, the unit must break 3 times within 12 months for the same reason in order to be replaced...like that is going to happen...then they have the right to take up to 90 days to fix the unit...so actually it will need to break 3 times in 90 days if they have it their way, and third they have the right to use refurbished parts..yes broken parts that have been sort of fixed.
