A self-proclaimed community bank, Centier Bank, located in NW Indiana, has some of the worst overdraft fees in the area. Competitors, at least, offer options to by-pass these fees - through monthly-fee insurance, or an approved line of credit. Both of these either eliminate the overdraft fee, or only charge you for interest due on what they covered (pennies). You'd think that with Walgreen Stores being as big as they are, they'd be competitive with their prescription prices for the uninsured. Hell No! I contacted them, other national chains, and independent pharmacies to get prices on medication I'm taking - because insurance is due to expire. Walgreens was the highest price on almost all, with none being the least expensive. At least other national chains, such as CVS, had one item where they were the lowest price. Through a so-called special offer that required registering for online education offers, I started registering with this website, but backed out before finishing. The retrieval of my personal contact information - despite not completing the entire registering process - resulted in them sharing this contact information with multiple e-mail promoting companies. One of these was Value Offers Direct, who sent e-mails with specials offers supposedly from companies like Wal-Mart, Dell, DirectBuy, Best Buy, and others. Spam has started, with numerous physical addresses, and attempts to stop them have all failed - including filings with the BBB. These e-mails, despite indicating they are located in New Jersey, California, Colorado, and Canada - to name a few, seem to be coming from Silverpop Systems, Inc., located in Atlanta Georgia They are apparently a mass market e-mailer (spammer) for companies. The Google Start Up Kit is claimed to be the way you can make money, when it actually isn't backed by Google at all. Google's program, for people to place links on their site, is AdSense and details can be found within Googles sites. Ms. Murphy is based over in Spain and has an array of testimonials. These testimonials, when read closely, appear more like hired guns who provide positive feedback for her product.
