I signed up for a home security system with FirstLine. They took my credit card info and started charging monthly on a 36 month agreement. After 4 months, the company disappeared. They stopped billing me and I could not contact them over the internet or phone. I found out several months later that my contract was picked up by Security associates (SAI). They told me I was 6 months behind but would accept a 3 month payment and waive the other 3 months if I provided a credit card to bill from. I did this and they took the first payment.
